One of the set customs in the school I work at is that every year the students order custom-made T-shirts. That means they pick from a catalogue the “motto” they want printed on their T-shirt together with their name and the name of the school. That greatly involves me since most logos are in English and they have appointed me their official translator . I already know most of the frigging catalogue by heart.

Anyway, what never ceases to amaze me is that the mottos those kids eventually choose for their T-shirts are in no way representative of their character, their beliefs or their behavior. On the contrary, most of the times they represent exactly the opposite of what they really are, or they represent what they would like to be or in some cases their sense of humor, sarcasm or irony! A girl who has never had a relationship (which is quite common in our school since there are so few students and most of them are brothers, sisters or cousins) picked the “Too many men, too little time” logo! A boy from another country picked the “100% Greek” one and the most hyperactive among the lot claims “I’m great in bed… I can sleep for days!” And the most kind and peaceful among them wears a T-shirt with all possible variations and combinations of the word “fuck” on it!

Last year I ordered one too. And, yes, it had “I’m a bitch, what’s your excuse?” printed all over it! No, I’m not, but hell yes, I wish I were. Not all the times but to those who deserve it. And I’m seriously working on it!

Anyways, this week’s journal poses two major questions:

1. What would you print on a t-shirt and why? (for those of you willing to share a piece of themselves, you know I love it when you do that, hell I do it all the time whether you like it or not )
2. This year I plan to have a totally custom made t-shirt. I have a really nice sketch =ugliehchibi had made for me but I’m clueless about the motto. Could you please suggest one? (for the most daring/creative of you!)

And don’t you dare ignore the questions cause I can really be a bitch when I want to
