... Far beyond the waves you carried far beyond your sunblind eyes far beyond the war you buried before the sun died
I had noticed this spot a while ago and thought it had potentials if only the pond in front of the rock formation was adequately filled with water. Unfortunately during my next 2 or 3 visits it remained stubbornly empty. On the day this shot was taken however the water level was just about right, not too deep to cover the rocks and shallow enough to show detail in its bottom. Problem was that the sky over the rocks was bare and the only activity in the sky was these two cloud formations that were way out of frame but at least moving towards the right direction. I thought that it was a far chance that theyd be in place by the time the setting sun had given them any color but I sat there waiting nevertheless and at the right moment they were cooperative enough not only to be in the right place but also to shape themselves up symmetrically to the rock formation below them!

This is absolutely beautiful! I love how the sky almost looks blurred in contrast to the clarity of the water, as if no matter how fast the world turns, or time flies, peace and tranquility still can thrive.
The radiance of the surface of the water reflecting the sky is what makes this picture sublime for me. An excellent capture!
